I, Mitsuru Misawa, left Atsumi & Sakai Law Office/Foreign Law Joint Enterprise on June 30, 2025 and established Borderless Business Law Office on July 1, 2025.
I have had the opportunity to work on many domestic and international cases at the firm, primarily in the energy and cross-border trade sectors, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the guidance and encouragement I have received.
At our new office, we will focus on ESG fields including renewable energy, cross-border transactions, and Southeast Asian legal affairs. We will approach each case carefully, work closely with our clients, and provide advice that exceeds their expectations.
I will continue to treasure my relationships with you and work hard as a lawyer who supports my clients.
In addition, we have established a Malaysian corporation, Borderless Consulting Sdn. Bhd .
In order to further contribute to the overseas expansion of Japanese companies, we would like to establish a subsidiary in Malaysia and act as an intermediary for Japanese companies in investment projects in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
We also plan to work with local lawyers in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries to provide local subsidiaries of Japanese companies with legal and compliance advice on ESG issues, including renewable energy.
